About Me

Uday Girish Maradana is a passionate Robotics Engineering graduate student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, specializing in Robot Control, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence. With a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in Machine Learning and AI, Uday is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of robotics and intelligent systems.

As a Graduate Researcher at WPI’s ELPIS Lab, Uday is currently focused on improving Robot Grasping Pipelines and advancing the field of Embodied AI. His professional journey includes significant roles at Johnson & Johnson, Tiger Analytics, New Space Research Technologies, and Quantiphi Analytics Solutions, where he has led teams in developing cutting-edge MLOps pipelines and implementing AI solutions across various domains.

Uday’s expertise spans a wide range of technologies, including Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, and Robotics. His research interests and projects demonstrate a strong focus on the intersection of AI and robotics, with ongoing work in areas such as autonomous navigation, visual inertial odometry, and semi-humanoid robot platforms.
